Princess Beatrix Locks is a lock complex in the Dutch town of Nieuwegein with two chambers.
They are, through the Lekkanaal,the sea link between the river the Lek and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. They are named after the then newly born Princess Beatrix.
The lock is an example of a twin lock. There are two equal chambers together. This is mainly applied to canals where many shipping traffic. With two separate locks may be in both directions guns and will be the up and down navigation do not interfere with each other.
The length per vortex is 225.00 m and width 18.00 m. The threshold depth south (outside) NAP -4.60 m, north side (inside) KP -4.20 m. They are at east of Nieuwegein - Vreeswijk and are owned by Rijkswaterstaat. Every year about 50,000 vessels pass through these locks.

The locks are available via the VHF radio to call from the channel: "Beatrix lock, inside" and from the river with "Beatrix lock, exterior" on VHF channel 20.
A miniature of the locks can be seen in Madurodam. On September 7, 2013 the 75th anniversary of the sluice was celebrated.
