This Standard gas pump is one of two vintage gas pumps that reside in front of the R.C. Baker Museum. This particular pump looks to have had a more current Standard decal placed on the pump. I did a little research online and was able to locate a similar vintage gas pump (I've attached pictures) and it is an early 1900's American gas pump, copper plate maker marked
Gilbert & Barker, Springfield, Mass., Model # T-8, serial # DH 9006, c. 1907, with the Red Crown Gasoline brand logo, and a Red Crown Gasoline brand globe, 111"h x 15" square base.
The pump I took pictures of is missing some parts, namely the metal attachment on top of the pump where the pump globe with the brand name of gas is.
This would make it the oldest gas pump I've discovered thus far.
