Recently restored (2010) stone memorial in the shape of obelisk standing on tiered prismatic pedestal with Czech lion was built and sponsored by local community and Dolní Brežany Repatriation Board in 1920. Inscriptions on the pedestal commemorate local soldiers fallen in WWI (and later added small tablet also fallen from WWII) and also commemorate the birth of the new post-WWI Czechoslovak state in October 28th, 1918. The memorial, work of Karel Rezek stonemason workshop, was ceremonially unveiled in June 13th, 1920 in presence of 3000 local people and guests.
