The Oliver War Memorial is approximately 8 feet in height and made of natural stone and standing on a two tier plinth. It was constructed in 1948, in memory of the Veterans of World War I, World War II. It was built by members of the South Okanagan Land Project and the plaques were supplied by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 97. In 1995, a plaque was added in memory of those who died in the Korean War. On the World War I portion are listed two names.
We honor these brave veterans who preserved our freedoms.
