EN: The cemetery Meisenhard is located on a forested hill east of Olten. The crematorium and funeral chapel were built in 1917, the cemetery opened in 1918 and replaced the Brugfriedhof, what is now the city park.
The cemetery covers an area of approximately 300 to 400 meters and is largely forested. The number is difficult to estimate, but including the urn graves there are likely to be between 2000 and 4000 graves.
DE: Der Friedhof Meisenhard befindet sich auf einem bewaldeten Hügel östlich von Olten. Das Krematorium und die Abdankungshalle wurden 1917 erbaut, der Friedhof wurde 1918 eröffnet und ersetzte den Brugfriedhof, wo sich heute der Stadtpark befindet.
Der Friedhof hat eine Fläche von ungefähr 300 auf 400 Metern und ist grossteils bewaldet. Die Zahl zu schätzen ist deshalb schwierig, aber mit den Urnengräbern dürften es zwischen 2000 und 4000 Gräber sein.
