Located near the intersection of NC 62 and NC 22, the station is at the crossroads of a large part of the population of NC. Serving residents in Guilford and Randolph Counties, they are an integral part of the community they serve, bravely and ably.

"Climax Fire Department provides fire suppression & prevention, emergency medical, and rescue services to the communities of Climax, Pleasant Garden, Randleman, and Franklinville, NC in both Guilford County and Randolph County for a total coverage area of 47 square miles. We respond first due in Climax and provide mutual aid to surrounding departments. Climax Fire Department in addition runs mutual aid medical calls with Guilford County and Randolph County EMS.

We currently operate out of two stations. Station #35 is located on Hwy 62 East between Appomattox Rd and the intersection of Hwy 22. Station #42 is located on Mack Lineberry Rd between Racine Road and Hwy 22 North. Climax Fire Department operates three Engines, two Tankers, two Squads, and one Brush Truck.

Climax Fire Department is a combination Paid & Volunteer Department with full time 24/7 staffing at both stations. This force is complimented by volunteers living in the vicinity of each station responding with our paid crews."
