I am not sure why it is named so, but if you go the end of Mayes (sic) Hill Road, you will find the access track for the Mays Hill trig.
Just ask the friendly property owner (Eric Slight) if you can leave your car there for a reasonable walk on up the hill. As usual, if the gate is closed, CLOSE it after you!
There is a large water tank up there, so I imagine it would have fantastic pressure.
Found: 1820, Monday, 30 November, 2015; just before leaving for Thailand, to teach some youth about geocaching, etc.
