Tento památník je postaven na Skatulove lesní ceste.
Tvorí ho mramorová deska vklínená mezi mramorové sloupky. Tak je znázornena bystrinná prehrážka, která má symbolizovat hlavní profesorovou cinnost - hrazení bystrin. Na desce pod autogramem profesora Skatuly je nápis:
"Jako ochránce pudy a vody
zaujímá prední místo les"

Citát vybral profesor Jaroslav Herynek z predmluvy k vysokoškolské ucebnici profesora Leo Skatuly Hrazení Bystrin a strží. Podle architektonického návrhu profesora I. Otruby památník zhotovila kamenická dílna Kámen v Olomucanech.

This memorial is built on the caskets forest road.
It consists of a marble slab sandwiched between marble columns. Thus is illustrated supercritical damming, which is meant to symbolize the professor's main activity - Mountain streams. On board under Professor Skatula autograph inscription:
