This huge curling stone stands elevated on a large round post and stands about 15 feet in height. The stone has a circumference of about 32 feet and is about 3 feet thick. The curler would need to be at least 60 feet tall to successfully throw this curling stone.

The regulation curling stone are thick discs that have a handle attached at the top. There are official dimensions for curling stones, including a maximum circumference of 36 inches and must be at least 4.5 inches high.

Kelowna Curling Club is one of the largest and most active curling clubs in the world. There are 12 sheets and home to many world champion curlers.
