Co se v Dolní Lhote po staletí nezmenilo je kaplicka. Ta jen zmlkla a prošla nejakou tou opravou. Kdy ji tehdy zbožní lhotectí obcané postavili snad by se našlo nekde v archivech. Kdysi jim svým zvonením nejen urcovala cas, ale i oznamovala pohromy a smutné události v obci.
Urcite ješte v roce 1946 tam pan Plch chodil zvonit ráno, v poledne a vecer. Taky, když v dedine nekdo umrel. To zvonil trhane „umírácka". Dlouho pak zvonil na rozloucenou, když nekoho v pruvodu odváželi do Blanska na hrbitov.
