The original courthouse sat here, when razed this was made the Confederate Park, and each corner is dedicated: 1 to veterans, one to lawyers, 1 to businesses, 1 to churches.

As you will see in the photo gallery, the bricks are laid on the street corner, including sidewalk, and the veterans memorial behind them.
A bronze plaque inset in the bricks declares it as "VETERANS CORNER".
Only about 50% of the bricks have names or dedications.
