A larger than life bronze figurative sculpture. Featuring Male & Female adults & 2 Children, dressed in 1900's period clothes. The figures represent an immigrant family in 1905, arriving at Ybor City.
A tribute to Immigrants of Ybor City - Steve Dickey's first statue commissioned in 1991 - A figurative bronze sculpture, featuring a family of immigrants, standing on a polished dark pink marble plinth. Dedicated to those courageous Men and Women who came to this Country in search of personal freedom, economic opportunity and a future of hope for their families. Honouring & naming two of the oldest living Immigrants still residing in the Ybor City, Tampa area. Unveiled on May 31,1992 in Centennial Park in front of the Ybor City State Museum.
