This manhole cover is in the center of the Folsom Historic District on Sutter Street in Folsom California near the railroad turn-table. This rather large cover portrays a water tower used to service the locomotives that turned around at the terminal.

The manhole cover is just one of the unique displays commemorating the historic role the railroads played in the development of the Folsom area and the California Gold Rush. The cover is near a clock tower atop the visitor parking lot.
