USGS ILL 8W 1923 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This disk was monumented in 1923 by USGS. The landscape here has surely changed, as the mark is located in front of a McDonald's restaurant. While driving to find this benchmark, I could smell the McDonald's from 2 blocks away. The mark is at the northeast corner of US Route 20 and Ford Street. Plentiful parking.

A future visitor can also create a new waymark for the McDonald's if they take the coordinates of an entrance and a photo of the restaurant.
