The Point Lonsdale Centotaph was originally dedicated to those who served and fell in World War 1,later the world War 2 plaque was added and in 2010 the plaque was updated to cover all conflicts and peacekeeping actions in which Australian servicemen served.
The memorial consists of a 4m high obelisk on a 1.2m stone plinth at the internalm corner of two short walls. The front of the obelisk has the names of the fallen from both World Wars, whilst the enlisted from WW1 are named on a bronze plaque on the left side and those from ww2 are on the right-hand side.
