Start from the Pole Creek Trailhead which is generally SW, 12.2 miles by road from the Sisters Ranger Station. From the west end of the parking lot, travel generally N on FR1500-700 for about 0.1 miles. Continue cross country, W for about 0.3 miles to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in collar of stones; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are two U-posts. LAND SURVEY MONUMENT and NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS signs are mounted on one which bears S, 60" distant. A NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS sign is mounted on the other which bears W, 64" distant. There are four reference monuments, 2" aluminum caps on 5/8" rebar driven nearly flush with the ground. These are approximately 10' distant in the intercardinal directions. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S0.7°E from WAYMARK WMPR13, 2648' distant.

This quarter corner is also AP 117 on the Three Sisters Wilderness boundary.
