The 987' Borden Tunnel was a double track tunnel built in 1911 by the Western Maryland Railway on it's line from Cumberland Md. to Connellsville Pa.
The rail line was abandoned in 1975 and now serves as the Allegheny Highlands Trail from Mckeesport Pa. To Cumberland Md.
