This is a very well maintained park, that overlooks the Mary River. On the last Sunday of every month the Model Engineers and Live Steamers Association runs a 13 cm model train for the public. And, there is also the Maryborough Excelsior City Band playing in the rotunda. On the southern side is an extensive war memorial for all the conflicts that the locals have been involved in.
