The granite gneiss glacial erratic is located in front of secondary school building in Lochów. It is protected as Natural Monument.

The name erratic comes from Latin errare (to wander). Those are rock fragments moved by glacier hundreds or thousends of kilometers from original location. So, on the sandy, lowland landscape we have methamorfic rocks, that are met in mountain regions.
This gnanite gneiss block is protected because of its size and geological importance as Natural Monument. It is located on school yard which is publicly available outside of regular school hours (there are many additional activities than are hold on school grounds, so there's no problem with visiting that place).
