MNDT 1401 AW 1997, MN, is a Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDT) vertical control disk mounted at the southeast corner of the US Highway 10 bridge over the Buffalo River, about 4.0 miles east of the town of Glyndon, in Clay County, MN. The disk is mounted in the railing at the southeast corner of the bridge, Bridge Number 14007. It is about 0.5 miles east of the crossroad intersection of US Highway 10 and State Highway 9, and 19.0 feet south of the centerline of US Highway 10. The disk was monumented by the Minnesota Department of Transportation in 1997, and documented for inclusion in the NGS database in 2001. It is stamped 1401 AW 1997 (the stamping is upside down). It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DG7141 (

To reach from Exit 6 off Interstate Highway 94 about 5.0 miles southeast of Moorhead, MN, go north on State Highway 336/County Highway 11 for about 2.1 miles to the crossroad intersection with US Highway 10. Turn right and go east on US Highway 10 for about 1.0 miles to the bridge over the South Branch of the Buffalo River. Continue east on US Highway 10 for about 6.6 miles to the bridge over the Buffalo River and the station on the right. Handheld coordinates are N46-52.635 W096-29.624.
