In Portland, within the Portland campus of the University of Southern Maine, is this sculpture by the Science building.
The campus is located north of downtown Portland. The nearest entrance is off Bedford Street, between U.S. Route 1 and Maine Route 25. The entrance leads to parking lots. The sculpture is at the northern edge.
The sculpture is an installation made of metal and stands over 7 ft high. The form roughly resembles some kind of flower with three heads. from two bases.
A plaque on a low brick wall has the following text:

Commissioned for the University of Maine System and the Citizens of Maine
Under the Maine Percent for Art Act.
2003"
