The sculpture is actually a double set of freestanding arches with two short, concrete, serpentine-shaped walls beneath them that can be used for seating. The arches are approximately 12 feet high by 7.5 feet wide by 8.5 feet long.

The Smithsonian Art Inventories Catalog (visit link) describes the sculpture as follows:

"Two pairs of concrete columns, each pair supporting an arch of wood covered in sheet copper. Together the components form a simple freestanding portico or archway. Low, small concrete walls near the base of the columns serve as benches."
