BATTLE OF
HOG MOUNTAIN
April 30, 1863
HERE GEN. FORREST OVERTOOK COL. STREIGHT'S RAIDERS
In hand~to~hand battle after dark 3 horses shot from under Forrest. Union force fled southward with Forrest in relentless pursuit.

Addtional Information::
My guess is that Forrest chased Streight south and east, where Forrest met up with Emma Sansom in Gadsden and crossed the creek and the final battle causing Streight to surrender.
