I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey BM from 1956 in good condition. This disk is monumented on top of a round concrete monument projecting about 2 inches above the ground. The NGS datasheet info is adequate for station recovery. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1956 AT VALLEJO. AT VALLEJO, IN T 2 N, R 3 W, ALONG SACRAMENTO STREET, 0.8 MILE SOUTHEAST OF THE Y JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 48, 204 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF THE T JUNCTION OF PRISBEE STREET, AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF A CEMENT BLOCK WALL AROUND SUNRISE MEMORIAL CEMETERY, 38 1/2 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE STREET, 1.1 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF A CEMENT BLOCK CORNER POST, ABOUT 1/2 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE STREET, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.2 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
