EN: The Church of Bretzwil is located on the eastern edge of the village on a hill.

A Chapel of St. Mary in Bretzwil is already documented in 1230, which was extended to a church which consisted of a nave with chancel and ridge turret until the 16th century. The nave was extended in 1610. The steeple on the west side was built in 1626. In 1786 the nave and the choir were replaced by a new building with no choir, which was dispensable in Reformed worship.

Eine Kapelle St. Maria in Bretzwil ist bereits 1230 dokumentiert, die bis ins 16. Jahrhundert zu einer Kirche vergrössert wurde, die aus einem Langhaus mit Chor und Dachreiter bestand. Das Langhaus wurde 1610 verlängert. Der Kirchturm an der Westseite wurde 1626 erbaut. 1786 wurden das Langhaus und der Chor durch einen Neubau ohne Chor ersetzt, der im reformierten Gottesdienst verzichtbar war.
