The plaque says, "Shell Oil Company used this beam balance pumpkin unit, manufactured by National Supply Company of Torrance, California for their local production of oil in wells less than 1,000 feet deep. This unit was used on a well to be pumped but not fro drilling the well. Similar to the cable-tool, it has a power sources, electronic motor, a walking beam and a Sampson post for support."
