A fantastic but under-utilized nature trail in the midst of the Department of Natural Resource land.

The approximately one-mile long looping trail leads past hickory and oak forest, ferns, a winding creek and the site of a former settlement. The scenery is unexpectedly beautiful and well worth a thirty minute respite from the every day. Be warned that the trail is located in the middle of natural resource land that does allow hunting in season with permits...use caution and good sense.
