Sapsucker Woods is a 230-acre wildlife sanctuary which features forests, ponds, swamps, and abundant wildlife. The sanctuary has more than four miles of trails and many of which include boardwalks over the wet areas, It begins at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology Visitor Center where you can borrow a pair of binoculars and get a bird checklist to take on your walk.
The trails are open daily from dawn to dusk. Pets are not allowed on the trails.
