The clock face is slightly convex and painted black although the paintwork has faded and has peeled-off in places. The hour and minute marks, coloured gold, are painted directly on to the clock face. The hour marks are Roman numerals as used on a clock face with "IIII" being used instead of "IV". The hands, also gold, are of a simple design with the minute hand having a tail.

There is a plaque beneath the south facing clock face that cannot be read in full but the year 1807 can be read so it is assumed that the year relates to the clock being mounted.
