5' tall log carving of "Avonlea's" most famous resident, Anne of Green Gables. Avonlea was the fictional setting for Lucy Maud Montgomery's classic tales.

Today, Avonlea Village is a recreation of that setting, and is a noted entertainment and shopping complex.
