The entrance to Prairie Queen Elementary School has a plaza dedicated by the local Neighborhood Watch Association. The plaza has lovely shrubs plantings, a clock, a stone map showing the State's former Indian lands, and a piece of granite from the Alfred P. Murrah Building which was given to all Oklahoma City elementary schools in remembrance of this disaster.
The plaza/arboretum is a semi-circular area, and was constructed and dedicated in December 2008, with funds provided from the Margaret Annis Boys Trust, and sponsored by the Prairie Queen Neighborhood Watch Association.
