EN: This sundial is located on the south facade of the rectory of Arisdorf. The house was in 1596 transformed into a rectory, when the sundial was installed, I do not know.
The clock is painted on the facade, around the gnomon it has a yellow sun and the beginning of Psalm 31.16 in German and Hebrew: "Meine Zeit steht in deinen Händen. בְּיָדְךָ עִתֹּתָי" (My times are in Thy hand.)
DE: Diese Sonnenuhr befindet sich an der Südfassade des Pfarrhauses von Arisdorf. Das Haus wurde 1596 zu einem Pfarrhaus umgebaut, wann die Sonnenuhr angebracht wurde, weiss ich nicht.
Die Uhr ist auf die Fassade aufgemalt, um den Zeiger hat es eine gelbe Sonne und den Beginn von Psalm 31.16 in deutsch und hebräisch: "Meine Zeit steht in deinen Händen. בְּיָדְךָ עִתֹּתָי"
