Die Pfarrkirche "Zum kostbaren Blut" wurde 1936 erbaut. Es gab bisher in Marquartstein nur die Burgkirche, ein kleines Kirchlein östlich der Burg, die dem Hl. St.Veit geweiht war. Die Kirche besuchte man bis 1936 in Grassau.

The parish church "to the Precious Blood" was built 1936th until zhis year in Marquartstein the only church was the castle church, a small church east of the castle, which was dedicated to St.Veit. Until this year the church in Grassau was used for the people in Marquartstein.
