The covered bridge at the southwest side of Biberstein Castle connects the main castle with the economic outbuildings outside the moat.
It was originally built in the 13th century, but has been modified many times since then.
Today the bridge consists of several distinct parts. The first one is from stone and uncovered, then a small covered wooden bridge with a tiled roof, the third segment is covered but made of stone, finally a short uncovered path along the castle wall that ends at the main gate.
