Statement by artist Gregory Johnson, artist of “Birdwatchers”:

“I create sculptures that are so life-like that it is not unusual to find dogs sniffing at their feet in bewilderment, while children and adults may often be found smiling, laughing and talking to them. People are simply in awe, notes one collector, as to the incredible likeness to the subject. It is as if the sculptor could talk to you.”

This piece was made using the lost wax method, bronze casting.
