The front facade of the town hall of Inzlingen has the coats of arms of the current municipality and the one of the medieval owners of town.

The moated castle of Inzlingen became the town hall of the municipality in 1977. On the top of the front facade, above the main entrance, there are two coats of arms.

On the right side is the coat of arms of Inzlingen, on the left side there is the coat of arms of the noble family Reich von Reichenstein.

Reich von Reichenstein owned Inzlingen as a fief of the prince-bishop of Basel after 1394. The castle of Inzlingen was one of four castles this family owned in the area. Their symbol was the boar spear and this symbol was also chosen by the municipality of Inzlingen.
