Ocean City Dog Park is an access controlled fenced-in, off leash, 42,000 square foot recreation area for dogs. The area has sandy soil and had three separate fenced-off areas: large dog area (dogs over 25 lbs), small dog area (dogs under 25 lbs) and dog run area for all dogs.

Each area has a picnic table, shed shelters, sitting benches, and water fountains for both dogs and their owners. "Pooper scooper" dispensers with disposable bags, several fire hydrants exclusively for dog use, play equipment, a Port-a-Potty, free off street parking lot and a designated handicap area.

Park hours are from 8 am to dusk, 7 days a week, year round. A "Paw-Pass" application is available on-line. There is a $30/year fee for Ocean City residents/homeowner and $40/year fee for non-residents. Application can be mailed to or delivered in person to the City Hall Receptionist at the City Hall at 861 Asbury Avenue.
