The Castle of Palmela, located abou 30 km south of Lisbon, offers impressive views all around. The visit if for free and in one of the terraces there is a set of photo cutouts with historical characters. This one, Pedro Álvares Cabral, represents the Portuguese navigator who discovered South America, in 1500.
