The Ocean City Tenth Street Station he station is a 117' long by 45' wide low rectangular Victorian shingle style building. It is covered hip roof with louvered hip dormers on west north and south sides. It is eight bays long and two bays deep. The three bays on the north side make up the open air shelter.

Ocean City Railroad built the station in 1898 and designed by architects Hunter and ,Williams. In 1901 it was acquired by the Atlantic City Railroad, and subsequently by the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines. The service to the station was cancelled in August 1981 due to poor track conditions. Today the station serves as a bus terminal for New Jersey Transit. It is currently known as the Ocean City Transportation Center.

The Ocean City Tenth Street Station was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
