The pocket park at West Avenue and E. 9th Street in Ocean City, NJ provides a shady oasis from an otherwise sunny-filled city. A three-sided fountain is the centerpiece of this park. The basin is contained within a 2' high brick wall with curved sides. The center of the fountain is layered with a cairn of flat rocks. Water rises from various points within the rocks and flows down the rocks into the basin below. The fountain is accented with a pair of great blue heron sculptures.
