This station is a NY State Department of Transportation survey disk, located in Ancram, NY, on NY Route 82.
The mark is set in top of the south wingwall of the east abutment of a bridge spanning the Roeliff Jansen Kill. It is 18-ft SSW from the center of the roadway (NY Rt.82), about level with the roadway, and 45-ft E from the extended center of Pooles Hill Road.
The mark replaces a USGS transit traverse station disk that was destroyed during widening of the bridge.
The mark is in excellent condition, and easily accessible.
