The only establishment on the boardwlk in Ocean City that makes it's own salt water taffy on the premises is Shriver's Salt Water Taffy & Fudge. In the back of the large candy store there is a viewing area where visitors can stand behind a large window to watch the taffy making process. In the right corner is the taffy fulling machine. Taffy is pulled on the machine to make it chewy. In addition the the pulling machine are a pair of machines that extrude, cut and wrap the individual pieces of taffy at 325 pieces per minute.
