This is one of the several hiking trails/ natural areas in the state of Florida. Close to the cities of Gainesville, Newberry and Archer this trail is easily accessible by road. It is particularly beautiful in late spring season and early fall when the greenery and low heat provides an ideal setting for hiking and enjoying nature.
The place has facilities for hiking, walking, bicycling, picnicking, and archery & hunting during short seasons.
