Stebbins Memorial Park - Sarcoxie, MO - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

Interesting thing about this park is that it is named as a memorial for a Stebbins. But none of the several web pages that are found with a web search indicate who Stebbins was! A FindAGrave search of the nearby large Sarcoxie Cemetery locates two Stebbinses, a father and son who died in the same year - 1926. A 2011 web page indicates that the park was created from funds of the Stebbins Trust. The park sign indicates that the park was established in 1954. There is a court case that may have something to do with the aforementioned son, and perhaps a trust. But the connection?
