Das Sepp-Doll-Stadion wurde auf dem Areal, das im Ersten Weltkrieg mit Notunterkünften der k.u.k Armee bebaut war und gleich neben dem Kremser Stadtpark liegt, errichtet. Nach dem Umbau Mitte der 1980er-Jahre – bei dem unter anderem die Laufbahn, auf der in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren Speedwayrennen ausgetragen wurden, entfernt wurde – bietet das Stadion für 10.000 Zuschauer platz. Das Stadion hat eine überdachte Sitzplatztribüne (Norden) mit über 1000 hochwertigen Schalensitzen. Dazu kommen die drei nicht überdachten Stehplatztribünen (Osten, Süden, Westen). Das Sepp-Doll-Stadion ist ein reines Fußballstadion, dies bedeutet, dass es keine Laufbahn um das Spielfeld gibt und die Zuseher direkt neben dem Spielfeld sitzen oder stehen. Dadurch soll auch eine viel bessere Atmosphäre garantiert sein als in einem weitläufigen Areal.
Die Anlage verfügt über einen Rasenplatz (103 x 67 m) mit einer 4-Masten-Flutlichtanlage und modernen Kabinen. Außerdem findet man zwei Bars und zwei Imbissstände neben den Tribünen.

The Sepp-Doll-Stadion has been built on the site, which in World War I was covered by emergency accommodation of the Austrian Army and is adjacent to the city park of Krems. After the conversion in the mid 1980s - at which among other things the raceway, where speedway races were held in the 1960s and 1970s, was removed - the stadium has room for 10,000 spectators. The stadium has a roofed grandstand (North) with more than 1,000 high-quality bucket seats. Then there are the three unroofed general admission grandstands (east, south, west). The Sepp-Doll-Stadion is a pure football stadium, this means that there is no raceway around the playing field and the spectators are sitting right next to the game. This shall also guarantee a much better atmosphere than in sprawling grounds.
