After one amazes at the "World's Largest Lobster" 3 kilometres west on Main Street, one can then view what has been dubbed the "World's Largest Rooster".

I'm not willing to bet any money on his being the world's largest, but, as roosters go he is pretty big.
Originally named "Mr. Banjo" for the name of the chicken diner on the site, Banjo is actually the second Mr. Banjo. The first, birth date unknown, had deteriorated badly and was replaced by the present Mr. Banjo in 1994. Our present Mr. Banjo appears to be something over 12 feet tall, quite a respectable size for a rooster.
Mr. Banjo's, the diner, is no more, but in its place we have Targett's Fried Chicken & Seafood, at 550 Main Street in Shediac.
