Do your research it WILL pay off- arial photos may help). I walked .3 miles South from parking coordinates (feel the power). At the end of the roadside concrete blocks, turn left. A few employees were out & about, but paid me no attention. It's all GPS & bushwacking from here. View from confluence was short, but gorgeous 360°. Be prepared clothing wise- long pants, sweatshirt, hat, boots a must year round. Do bring your digital camera and "game tracking guide book". Be on the look out for locals (Moose, Deer, Pheasant, Snake, Frog, Etc).
Many caches in the vicinity, so load up your waypoints!
