Two hundred metres of listed glass galleries in the centre of Brussels: the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries. Boutiques, restaurants and a cinema are all at your disposal.
The Saint-Hubert Galleries are divided into three parts: the Galerie de la Reine, the Galerie du Roi and the Galerie des Princes. Know as the "Umbrella of Brussels", they are the work of the architect, Jean-Pierre Cluysenaer in 1847.
The Galleries are one of the most loved places by Brussels inhabitants and tourists. Just a stone's throw from the famous Grand Place, in the heart of the capital, amongst boutiques and restaurants, they are visited by more than 6 million people every year who walk under the splendid glass roof that protects the galleries from the Belgian climate.
In the past, visitors had to pay to gain access into the galleries. 25 cents on Thursdays and Sundays, 10 cents on every other day of the week. This, of course, is no longer the case these days. Now, you can enjoy the Royal Galleries for free.
