Town Common - Northbridge MA - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

The Town Common is mainly a space for walking and talking. There are no fun facilities here. The town has used this space that is centered in the mills of the past for the Whitin family for decorating those that have served. There is a Civil War Memorial, WWI, David P Casey (Medal of Honor) and a Fireman's Memorial.

The pathways follow the park triangular shape with 3 entrances at each corner. The Civil War monument is the most ornate of them all. A Firemen's Memorial is at one leg and the third is simply an entrance to the Common from Linwood Ave. It is well maintained with the lawn area kept cut and trash is picked up.

It is a Common the Town of Northbridge can be proud of.
