This station, a United States Geological Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in downtown Berlin, MD, at the main entrance of what is now known as the PNC Bank. The description is as follows:

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1942 AT BERLIN. AT BERLIN, WORCESTER COUNTY, AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF JEFFERSON AND MAIN STREETS, AT THE EXCHANGE AND SAVINGS BANK BUILDING, IN THE SOUTH END OF THE TOP STEP OF THE FRONT ENTRANCE, 30 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF JEFFERSON STREET, AND 23.5 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF MAIN STREET. A UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY STANDARD DISK, STAMPED 45 BALTO 1900.

This is a rather easy find, and has been in place for well over a century. It is in remarkably good condition.
